CONFERENCE SCHEDULE

The presentation of the conference papers can be made by means of oral presentation or posters.

1. Oral presentation: Please prepare your presentation PPT in advance and give a copy to the conference staff when you register.

Note: a) Please save your PPT file in the format of PowerPoint2003 or 2007;

b) The time limit for keynote speakers is 60 minutes including 10 minutes for questions. For other speakers, it is 20 minutes including 3 minutes for questions.

c) The laptop and projector for presentations will be provided in all the sessions. 

2. Posters: Please prepare your poster in advance and give it to the conference staff when you register. The poster templates can be downloaded here:Poster templates.rar.

Note: a) Please follow the format introduction and print your poster with a fixed size of 120cm¡Á90cm;

   b) If you prefer to have your poster printed by the conference staff, please submit the electronic version of the poster before September 10th via email at arch10@arch-bridges.cn. Some charge will be required when you register.

Fuzhou Hot Spring Hotel (five-star hotel) will serve as the Conference Venue.

We will reserve the hotel for collective, and conferee need not book the rooms. Please tell us the number of participants three months in advance so we can book rooms for you.

Price of a standard room or a single or double room is 35~40€/day.

The international conference on arch bridges is the only academic event on arch bridges in the world. More than 150 researchers, experts, practitioners and other people interested in arch bridges from all over the world have already expressed their interest to attend this conference. The Arch¡¯10 will provide an excellent opportunity for bridge companies to showcase and promote both products and services to the world renowned experts in this field. The company can participate in the conference by

(1) Printing company logo in proceedings and webpage of Arch¡¯10 as a support company (cost Euro 800);

(2) Setting up a booth in the conference exhibition area (cost Euro 800);

(3) Distributing brochures, flyers, product samples in the conference bags (cost Euro 200);

(4) Sponsoring a conference event such as the coffee sessions, luncheons or dinner banquet. The cost depends on the event type and can be discussed with us.

TRANSPORTS

The Fuzhou international airport connects all major Chinese cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong. After arrival, at the Arrival Hall, delegates and accompanying persons will find the receptionists from the conference organizing committee who will lead you to the special cars waiting outside the hall and taking you to the hotel. In case you cannot find the receptionists or you prefer going to the hotel by yourself, you may:

1)      take a cab from the airport to the Hot Spring Hotel where the conference will take place. The total cost is around 150 yuan (18 €).

2)      first take the airport Shuttle Bus from the airport to the downtown of Fuzhou city and then take a cab to the hotel. The total cost is 20 yuan (2.4 €) for the shuttle bus and 15 yuan (1.8 €) for the cab. The shuttle bus departs every 20 minutes and is available until the last flight in a day.
